Robbie CervRobert Cerv
Instructor (Piano)

Robbie (a.k.a. Robert Henry Cerv III) started playing piano at age 7. After 12 years of trying to weasel his way into quitting, he decided it would be a good idea to major in piano at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Truth be told, now he thanks is mother for chaining him to the piano bench for all those years and "never letting him quit during the Summer."

His musical journey has led him to Nissa's String Studio, where he teaches piano.

Teaching Philosophy: How do I make it so a student actually likes to and actually wants to practice piano? The answer to this question is what we will be working on in lessons.

Robbie is a former student of Lu Oschner, Linda Vollweiler, David Pritchard, Dr. Larry E. Jones, and Catherine Herbener. Robbie is currently active in music at Lincoln Berean Church and Opera Omaha.
